I haven’t had time to write though I’ve had things to share. If a picture is worth a thousand words I get credit for a five-thousand plus word post.
This is what life outside of work has looked like recently.
Penelope holding the Beatnik Beatch album. BB was the precursor to my favorite power-pop band, the Jellyfish. I took this photo in response to a Facebook pic of a child holding the Jellyfish live album. And yes, we did listen to this after posing for the picture.
My view as Penelope and we watched “Pee-Wee’s Playhouse” last week. Today she was introduced to Cowboy Curtis and making French Toast. Oui oui!
We arrived at Stephanie’s for a play date. When Penelope got out she walked up the road, turned around, and looked at me. As she started to walk back I noticed a mischievous grin plastered to her face. All I could imagine were the words “Here we come, walking down the street…”
We arrived at the park in East Point. Slides, swings, and ducks. As Steve said “the duck always wins”. Penelope spent most of our time at the park riding it.
What I saw driving home today. A reminder of how beautiful the world around us is.
