We’re in the thick of it now. The home study has begun and we have been gathering paperwork to have it notarized and certified. Today was the big one, Jenn’s Employment Verification letter. What made it awkward is she just started as a company employee rather than a temp last week. Once we have her letter notarized we can complete the financial statement and have all our paperwork done. Notarization, County Clerk Notarization, Certification, and Authentication.
In the mean time the back bathroom is complete and work has begun on the hall bath. Yesterday Jenn’s dad John helped me shift the supply lines from the floor to inside the wall (the original location for those pipes). Today I removed a third of the tile from the wall. I can see the end in sight already, a welcome feeling compared to last time.
Soon we will have a second visit with Stephanie and Charlie, lunch at Doc Chey’s to celebrate the beginning of the process and to get more tips from someone who’s been there and back. A lot to look forward to.
